This policy describes the principles Linkeja follows when handling data. It complements our Privacy Policy, which is the authoritative source for exactly what we collect and how we use it.
Our Principles
- Data minimization. We collect only what we need: the account information required to authenticate you (such as email and username) and anonymous, aggregated usage metrics.
- No storage of your content. Your clipboard contents and transferred files are relayed between your devices and are not retained on our servers after delivery.
- Purpose limitation. We use account information only to operate the Service, and metrics only to improve it. We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
- Security. Connections are authenticated and secured in transit, and we apply industry-standard safeguards to the limited data we handle.
- Short retention. Your most recent clipboard text is stored on our servers solely to enable auto-sync across your devices; each new clipboard entry overwrites the previous one, so only the latest is ever held. Transferred files are removed after delivery. Account information is kept only while your account is active.
