Welcome to Linkeja. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Linkeja software and related services (the “Service”). By downloading, installing, or using Linkeja, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. License Grant
Linkeja (“Licensor”) grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Service for personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms and the End-User License Agreement (EULA).
2. Restrictions
- You may not distribute, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise transfer the Service.
- You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code, except to the extent permitted by law.
- You may not remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels in the Service.
3. Account Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Users between 13 and 18 must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You are responsible for the content you choose to sync or transfer.
5. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service to:
- Transmit malware, viruses, ransomware, or any other malicious code;
- Infringe the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of any third party;
- Transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene;
- Transmit, store, or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexually exploits minors;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts, our servers, or any connected systems;
- Use automated tools to scrape, overload, or otherwise abuse the Service or its infrastructure;
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
Violation of this section may result in immediate account suspension or termination without notice.
6. Privacy & Data
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The Service syncs your most recent clipboard text and transferred files across your devices via our relay servers. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
7. Fees & Subscriptions
Linkeja is currently free to use during Early Access. We may introduce paid plans or premium features in the future. If we do, we will present the price and terms clearly before you are charged, and continued use of any paid feature is subject to those terms. Any applicable refund terms will be described in a separate billing policy at that time.
8. Updates & Support
Licensor may provide updates, patches, or new versions at its discretion. There is no guaranteed level of support during Early Access.
9. Disclaimer of Warranty
The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. See the EULA for full disclaimers.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Licensor and its suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Licensor’s total aggregate liability under these Terms shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by you for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim, if any.
11. Termination
These Terms will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any provision. Licensor also reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, with reasonable notice where practicable. If Licensor discontinues the Service, Licensor will endeavour to provide reasonable advance notice. Upon termination for any reason, you must uninstall and destroy all copies of the Service.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. The “Effective” date above reflects the latest revision. We will post the updated Terms at linkeja.com/terms-and-conditions. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Bangladesh.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
15. Waiver
No waiver of any breach or default under these Terms will be deemed a waiver of any subsequent breach or default. Failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
